Everything you’ll need

Whether you’re a pancake aficionado or a novice in the kitchen, this delightful and easy-to-follow recipe will make you a breakfast hero. Here’s everything you’ll need to make them:

  • All-Purpose Flour: The base ingredient for the dinner rolls, providing structure and texture.
  • Rapid-Rise, Instant Yeast: Helps the dough rise quickly, resulting in soft and fluffy rolls.
  • Granulated Sugar: Adds sweetness to the rolls and activates the yeast.
  • Salt: Enhances the flavor of the rolls and balances the sweetness.
  • Warm Milk: Adds moisture to the dough and helps activate the yeast.
  • Butter, softened: Provides richness and flavor to the rolls, as well as a tender texture.
  • Egg: Adds richness and helps bind the dough together.
  • Melted Butter: Used for brushing the rolls after baking, adding flavor and a golden shine.
  • Chopped Parsley: Garnish for the rolls, adding color and freshness.
  • Garlic Powder: Adds savory flavor to the melted butter.

The Details

Step #1: Mixing Dough: Combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, warm milk, softened butter, and egg in a stand mixer bowl.

Step #2: Kneading: Use a dough hook attachment to knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.

Step #3: Rising: Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise at room temperature until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Step #4: Shaping Rolls: Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 24 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a smooth ball and place on a greased baking sheet.

Step #5: Second Rise: Cover the shaped rolls with a towel and let them rise again at room temperature until puffed, about 30 minutes, before baking to golden perfection.
