Garlic Butter Chicken With Cream Sauce

Ingredients  

  • 8-10 Chicken Tenderloins
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic minced

Spice Blend

  • Turmeric
  • Paprika
  • Basil
  • Coriander
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Tony Chachere's (Cajun Seasoning)

Cream Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • Tony Chachere's
  • Black Pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Season chicken with the spice mix.
  • Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
  • Place chicken in butter, cooking each side until slightly golden. Remove the chicken.
  • Sauté onions and garlic.
  • Add rice and the spice mix, saute rice until well coated.
  • Place the cooked chicken on top of the rice.
  • Pour chicken broth, bringing it to a boil. Turn off the stove. Quickly cover the skillet with the lid or aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and enjoy!

Cream Sauce

  • Melt butter in sauce pan.
  • Add cream, flour, seasonings, and parsley to the saucepan.
  • Whisk on medium heat until thickened.
